Kale Soup - Kelly's Version

4 ardelli artichoke and garlic sausages
4 ardelli habanero sausages
one medium brown onion - minced
3 cloves garlic - smashed whole
two bunches kale
two cans garbanzo beans (leave those skins on Irene!!)
one box organic chicken broth

Ina a large soup pot, saute onion and garlic in some olive oil. Cut sausage into thin slices. Add to pot when oil is hot and lightly brown. While sausage is browning, cut kale in to strips. I use the stems, they are sweet and just clip off the bottom bits. Drain and rinse garbanzo beans. When the sausages are done, pour broth, beans and finally kale into the pot. Top with lid and bring to a boil. Turn burner down to simmer and simmer until the kale is soft.
